2 Can You Relate to This Common ESL Teaching Problem?

1-Minute Videos, Articles and Resources for ESL Teachers

Can You Relate to This Common ESL Teaching Problem?

One of the biggest challenges ESL teachers face is differentiating for students who learn at different speeds or who are at different levels in the same class.

Every class has fast students and slow students, weak and strong, motivated and unmotivated.

Though we can dream, perfect classes only exist alongside unicorns and automatic-homework-grading machines.

That means, in order to meet the needs of all of our students and not just one small sub-section of them, we need to differentiate.

And since there is only 1 teacher in the classroom, in order to differentiate, our classes are going to have to be a lot more student-centered and a lot less teacher-centered.

If you would like to check out how you can use the ESL Paths to Fluency trackers with our teaching materials to track students going at different speeds through the material or who are at completely different levels in the same class, hit the button below.
