ELL CONVERSATION CARDS Are Wonderful for Building Speaking Fluency!
There are so many things you can do with them, but here are a couple of suggestions:
- They make for a great bell ringer activity.
- At the beginning of class each day, students grab a set of cards and sit down with a partner or small group to have a little conversation.
- You can start with one card, practice it together, and then add to the stack of cards each day with new cards.
- You can also pair these with a board game. Students need to ask and answer a question in order to take a turn in the game.
Need more? There are lots more of these included with the ESL Curriculum Membership.
